CHANTING FOR BEGINNERS

Sound healing is a powerful tool we can use to promote healthy in both the physical and energetic body. Your voice vibrates at a unique frequency that is designed to heal your own body. This frequency is specific to you, and whenever you practice chanting, you activate this innate healing power.

Chanting also extends our exhales and encourages the release of hormones in the body that promote relaxation.

In this guided practice, we’ll begin by working with the vibration of the voice and cultivating an awareness of our personal energy. We’ll end the practice by chanting the Sanskrit word OM. OM (also spelled AUM) is said to be the primordial sound of the universe, the first sound, the sound of creation.
