DAYS 1-10: MEDITATION BASICS

In the first ten days of this challenge, I will introduce you to the basics of meditation. I’ll show you some of my favorite techniques with a guided meditation recording each day. You can download all of the practices to revisit again later if you would like. If you can, try to choose a daily time to meditate and stick to it. Your mind will eventually get the message that “it’s time to meditate now,” which may make it easier for you to release your thoughts and settle into the practice.

DAYS 11-20: DIVING DEEPER

In the second ten days of this challenge, we will lengthen the duration of the practice using a guided meditation each day. Although we can experience the benefits of meditation in as little as three minutes, a longer practice allows you enough time to really settle in, release your attachment to the thoughts in your mind and journey deeper inward.


days 21-30: DEVELOPING YOUR PERSONAL PRACTICE

In the final ten days of this challenge, I will show you how to create a meditation practice that is uniquely your own. Being able to meditate without the guidance of a teacher allows you to really tune into your own inner voice. During these ten days, you should choose your favorite guided meditation or your own personal meditation and commit to practicing the same meditation every day. Doing the same practice every day creates neural pathways that become familiar. When you do this, you’re sending the same signals to your brain each time so that it begins to recognize that it’s time to relax. You may notice that when you sit to meditate, each time it becomes a little bit easier. This can create profound shifts in our energy and self awareness!
