COME AS YOU ARE...

There are no pre-requisites to join Spoonie Yoga Tribe. Even if you've never stepped foot on a yoga mat before, you are welcome to join.

"Spoonie" is an affectionate nickname that was created for people living with chronic illness, but I like to expand this term to include people living with chronic pain or mental illness as well because we all face similar struggles and stigma. You will never be turned away for not being "Spoonie enough," nor will you be turned away for not being "healthy enough." Yoga is for everyBODY, and this is what the Tribe is all about.

Anyone who feels that they could benefit from gentle yoga that focuses on cultivating self-acceptance and inner peace is welcome to join.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

how long are the classes?

The length of each class will vary. There are classes as short as five minutes and as long as 60 minutes. Each class is clearly labeled with a time stamp as well as intensity level. You can also view a complete list of poses for each practice, so you'll know right away if the class is something you're feeling up to that day.

i'm not sure if i'm a spoonie. can I still join?

Absolutely! Spoonie Yoga Tribe is open to anyone who is interested in gentle yoga practices that focus on self-acceptance. If you're curious to learn more about where the term Spoonie comes from, click here

will you still be offering free content on youtube?

Yes! I plan to continue posting to YouTube and Instagram as usual. Spoonie Yoga Tribe is great for yogis who want to go deeper with their practice or for those who might be newer to yoga and would like more support in their practice.

Are the tribe classes different than your youtube classes?

Tribe is everything you love about my YouTube classes and MORE. All of these classes are taught in the same gentle style you love. Each month I upload new exclusive content to the Tribe library, including yoga practices, meditation practices, and lifestyle guides related to that month's given theme. Unlike YouTube, Tribe offers the option to download the classes so that you can take them with you anywhere. Tribe also offers yoga training plans, challenges and more opportunities to connect with me and with other members. 

WHAT’S THE MONTHLY FEE?

Spoonie Yoga Tribe is $22USD per month—compared to $98+ for the same value at a yoga studio. If you’re outside the USA, can calculate the currency exchange here.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR...

Hi! I'm Rachel Marie White. I am a certified yoga teacher and chronic illness warrior. For nearly a decade, I have been living with chronic pain and chronic illness symptoms. Through all of the unpredictable ups and downs, I have learned how to care for my mind, body and spirit with yoga. Sharing this healing practice with others has become my life's passion. I've already helped thousands of chronic warriors to discover yoga practices that really work, and I would love to help you do the same!
