What's even more painful is that we feel disconnected from ourselves, betrayed by our own bodies. In addition to losing our health, many of us have also lost careers, friends, family members, and our sense of self.

Yoga can help us to find our way back home to ourselves, and with Spoonie Yoga Tribe, none of us has to journey alone.

COME AS YOU ARE...

There are no pre-requisites to join Spoonie Yoga Tribe. Even if you've never stepped foot on a yoga mat before, you are welcome to join. 

"Spoonie" is an affectionate nickname that was created for people living with chronic illness, but I like to expand this term to include people living with chronic pain or mental illness as well because we all face similar struggles and stigma. You will never be turned away for not being "Spoonie enough," nor will you be turned away for not being "healthy enough." Yoga is for everyBODY, and this is what the Tribe is all about.

Anyone who feels that they could benefit from gentle yoga that focuses on cultivating self-acceptance and inner peace is welcome to join.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR...

Hi! I'm Rachel Marie White. I am a yoga teacher and chronic illness warrior. For nearly a decade, I have been living with chronic pain and chronic illness symptoms. Through all of the unpredictable ups and downs, I have learned how to care for my mind, body and spirit with yoga. Sharing this healing practice with others has become my life's passion. I've already helped thousands of chronic warriors to discover yoga practices that really work, and I would love to help you do the same!
