MY PERSONAL JOURNEY WITH YOGA NIDRA:

Insomnia is something I have struggled with on and off my whole life, but it became an even more prominent issue when I began experiencing chronic pain. "Pain-somnia" (as we Spoonies call it) can really take a toll on a person. Not being able to sleep affects your body, your mind, and your connection with your higher self. I'll tell you more about this in the booklet that comes with this practice.

When I practice Yoga Nidra right before bed, it helps me to relax and release tension so that it's easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. Oftentimes, I fall asleep before the practice is even over. 

Everyone's experience with Yoga Nidra is unique. I can't guarantee that yours will be the same as mine, but I would be shocked if you did not receive some benefit from this practice.
