Yoga Nidra means "yogic sleep." It is a systematic relaxation technique that brings you into a state of consciousness where you are floating midway between waking and sleeping. This allows the subconscious and conscious mind to integrate. This integration can be profoundly healing for mind, body and spirit.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that always begins with physical relaxation. Relaxing the body relaxes the mind. Unlike most meditation techniques, Yoga Nidra requires no concentration, and it's impossible to do it wrong. This is the easiest meditation practice you will ever do! All you need to do is lie back and listen to my voice.

MY PERSONAL JOURNEY WITH YOGA NIDRA:
I have been living with chronic illness since 2010. If I've learned anything about chronic illness, it's that chronic illness is unpredictable. Every day is different. There have been many times when I have not been well enough to do my physical yoga practice. What I have realized is that there are ways to practice yoga without bending my body, and Yoga Nidra is one of them. Yoga Nidra has become a regular part of my yoga practice, so even when I am unable to do my physical practice, I can still practice yoga. I can still do something good for myself. I can still reconnect to my body and my higher self. All the benefits I've listed above are results that I have personally experienced in my own Yoga Nidra practice, and I'm so thrilled to have this opportunity to share this practice with you. It has changed my life.
